Stuart House has 38 rooms the size of which are between 12 and 20 sq.m. We are registered for 39 residents.

The provider is Caremore Limited, Stuart House, 149 London Road, St Albans, AL1 1TA. Mr P.C.Presence and Mr F.P.Presence are the Directors and have been involved in Caremore Limited since 1983 and 1993 respectively.

The registered Manager at Stuart House is Mrs P Agard-Smith. Formerly a registered nurse Mrs Agard Smith has many qualifications in aspects of social and residential care. However in accordance with regulations neither Mrs Agard-Smith nor any staff are medically qualified. In the event of illness or injury either a residents Doctor or the emergency services are contacted immediately.

Staff at Stuart House are all involved in an ongoing training program that includes First Aid, Lifting and Handling, Induction and foundation programmes and NVQ qualifications.

Our activities Co-ordinator provides in house activites and outings and all hobbies are encouraged. Residents are informed of Religious services via the noticeboard.
